Funding Appeal for our new Cattery
Our existing cattery was never properly designed and it is not compliant with the required standards. We are seeking donations from anyone wishing to contribute to a building fund for our new cattery. Donations can be made via this Website – just click on the Donate button or in person at the MAAW Shelter or at the Opportunity Shop. We will be drawing up designs soon and hope to have work beginning by mid year.
These photos indicate the state of the existing facility – hot in summer, cold and wet in winter! Our new building will be well insulated, comfortable, safe and cosy for our cats and kittens.
Rotary Castlemaine, December 2017
Rotary Castlemaine generously donated $8,000 for the purchase of this VW Caddy Van for our animal transportation. The cheque was presented at Rotary’s Twilight Carols in Victory Park on 22 December 2017. Stephanie, Brian and Rosey were there to accept the cheque from Rotary’s President, John Tozer. The beautiful design was created by Geoff Hocking.
