Your kindess helps others

When you become a member of MAAW you are joining a team of passionate community members who are committed to the cause of animal welfare. For an annual membership fee of $10, you will receive our quarterly newsletter and are entitled to vote at our AGM. The proceeds from your membership contribute to our MAAW Helping PAWS program.
How You Can help

Your Membership at Work

MAAW committee is very aware of the degree of economic disadvantage in our community and the aim of this program is to provide financial assistance to eligible residents of the Mt Alexander Shire who find themselves unable to afford emergency diagnostic vet treatment for a companion pet or registered service animal. MAAW has assisted a number of families whose pets required urgent treatment. The process involves a referral from a local vet to request assistance based on all eligibility criteria being met. Donations to this program can be made through our Donate link on our website, via MAAW Member Jungle or directly at our shelter site or op shop.
